It is not possible to check if one is a member, one must email me. This is
of course due to mentioned privacy issues. Anyone have any good ideas on how
to make sure if one is a member or not without exposing the entire list? I'm
thinking in the lines of passwords and such but it just seems like such a
hassle.

I checked, you are a member.
