There wont be any profit because its a non profot org.
I think that simply having a eb site with projects outlines and invitations
for people to help will attract people.
The other thing is having collaboration showing projects happening.
I think we simple use http://code.google.com to manage projects through.
i use it for open source projects and its just fine for hardware projects
too.
People will then have a reference point to link to and send links to
others.
This si what stimulates interest and gets the ball rolling.
Also making YoutTube videos of projects is excellent.
i also suggest using 3d Models to visualize projects.
These can be hosted at the Google warehouse.
Again, all of this can be linked off from the Main site and the google code
site.
By using all these open source web site tools it gets syndication, which is
whats its all about
This how i would do it.
