Hi!

I am going to buy a Galileoscope to explore space. :-)

Do we have any more aspiring hobby astronomers?

Once we have scopes we could learn about, and explore,
space. I for one really like the video documentary series
Carl Sagans Cosmos as an introduction to the universe.
I've realized that there exists a book with the same title
that I want to read as well.


Maybe someone has ideas on how to build a better,
slimmer, sleeker, or better telescope. I still think it would
be nice to start off with something that works directly
instead of getting stuck in the trap of "ooh, I just need to
learn X and Y to do Z for my original plan to hack W which
is similar to a off the shelf V."

It is possible to eat the cake and still have it I suppose.
We just need a duplicator. ;-)
