Hey all,
Attached is the PDF about the Resilient Communities Project.
i also will setup a web site for the different parts of it, so that it
has a home (as it were).
Based on talking to people over the last month i am 100% sure that
people really want something like this. i am rarely so confident about
a project, but this one seems to be a winner.
If anyone is interested in helping for parts of it i sure could use it :)
The hardware side of it is pretty interesting, and i already have
tracked down all the bits to make it work.
Just a matter of bringing it together and getting some boards fabbed
out of Shenzen basically.
i dont think the effort is actually that high based on my research.
The building side of it is actually very easy. I know that sounds
flippant, but i think so, and thats probably because i am an
architect.
The HEMP is the issue. I can get it from the UK but its dumb because
the cost value per m3, means that shipping is 90% of the cost.
In Sweden there are 3 farms and so that means making an agreement with
the farmers to ramp up production.
anyway, maybe we should talk further about it on the Wednesday meet up
if anyone is interested.
i dont want to force it down anyone's throat.
BTW Heckvik, i still have that book you lent me:9 i have not forgotten
Regards
ged
