yeah i looked at the c code on their SVN server. They failed to secure
it properly :)
the idea is that they are reverse engineering the 868 Mhz bit wise
protocol signature.
Its a small move but its similar to reverse engineering hardware
drivers for linux and so a bit of a massive thing.
But i REALLY hope that these drivers get backed into the Linux kernel
instead or at least a LARGE driver base for this stuff.
its very fragmented at the moment i guess is what i am saying.

For example the Nexa devices (sold in Sweden by electricians) use a
simple bit wise protocol. They are sold as Nexa in Sweden, but
originally they are made by a Chinese company using a closed source
driver software.
If i was kitting our my home with this stuff i would really want the
drivers FROM the Chinese OEM.
Just like with ASUS, and how you can get the supported drivers etc.
anyway had my rant. As an architect it shits me the way the building
industry is i guess :)
